Do most congressman and women think our tax dollars are monopoly money?

all the earmarks, all the padded expense accounts, the perks, etc. if it came out of their pockets I bet they would be more frugal

They use our money to benefit them and then they laugh at us. How many of them live in average homes? None! Then when they know the American people are asking for them to address drilling now, they go on vacation. They basically told us to p*ss off!

It seems that way. In my opinion all members of congress are only looking out for themselves, even thought they give the perception that they are looking out for you.

Your question goes to the heart of all of our Nation’s problems. The Congress can get all the funds it needs to keep the sheeple happy and themselves in office—-they simply borrow it and put it on the tab with no thought of taxpayers having to either work harder or having to reduce their standard of living because of inflation.

Obviously the Republican Congress and the Republican President that duped the nation into a two trillion dollar quagmire in Iraq think so.

Might be a few first termers that don’t feel that way but after the first term it is pretty much all of them to some degree or another with possibly one or two exceptions just don’t know who. I dislike things that say all or everyone since their is almost always an exception to the rule some where-this one would be very difficult to find though. The undisputed “King of Pork” is Sen Byrd-Dem-WV; it is all parties nd politicians and not the “Republican Congress” which has been cntrolled by Democrats the last couple of budgets and the pork level has not changed to any great degree.
