Is there any inexpensive outdoor wedding venues in Pasadena?
ByI just got engaged on Valentine’s Day! (yeah!) and now I’m beginning planning and research. I’d like to get married in Pasadena, CA, but everything is so expensive. Is there any beautiful and inexpensive places that are ideal for a small wedding (by small I mean like 50 people and by inexpensive I mean like under $2k)? I’d really like to get married outdoors or in a community garden, or somewhere where plants are growing. Any suggestions are much appreciated.

I was going to do this for you but I need to know where Pasadena is close to as in the metropolitan/main area. But go to
http://wedding.theknot.com/local-wedding-vendors.aspx
I use this site daily to help with friends and family and whom ever needs wedding planning.
once you get there you might need to create an account with the but it is 100& free. But once you get to the link click on California and the area closest to you and then select your price range which varies from inexpensive ($) to very expensive ( $$$$$) . They use dollar signs to determine the price range.
i hope this helps and if you need any help please feel free to email me. Wedding planning is a hobby of mine and Id love to help anyway I could
I wish you a lifetime full of happiness =)

Oh! My area!
You know what the perfect place would be? A little jewel of a church called Church of the Angels. It’s not outdoors, but it’s GORGEOUS. It’s on Avenue 64. The website isn’t very pretty, but you seriously have to take a look at the church. It seats (I think) 50-150, and the price is well under $2k. I can’t find any interior shots, but it’s the church used in ‘Desperate Housewives’.

Charlotte is right, Church of the Angels is a great venue!
The Arboretum (Arcadia) http://www.arboretum.org/index.php/visit/wedding/
Don’t know the prices:
Neighborhood Church

Villa Sorriso

There might be facilities through the cities, they tend to be less expensive:
South Pasadena – http://www.ci.south-pasadena.ca.us/parks/parkrentals.html
You might take a look at Eddie Park/House.

Castle Catering can help you achieve your dream party or event. They recently partnered with a party rental service, so along with the catering they can also provide you with all the necessary party supplies (tables, chairs, linens, glassware, etc). Even better, Castle Catering can provide a beautiful venue for your event, the Romanesque Room in the historic Green Hotel in Old Pasadena.
