Where is the best area in the Oklahoma city area to find the best steals and deals at garage sales?
I’m not sure about “steals and deals,” but there always seem to be a ton of garage sales in north Edmond…
What’s even better is to look in the paper for estate sales in the area, because there’s often a wider range of stuff.
indeed edmond is nice for garage sells but its still edmond and most the people there expect to sell their nice things at nice prices…i would BY FAR suggest norman…college town..usually right after semesters…u hav people moving out and having moving sales and can catch GREAT DEALS!!
infact just this past month i hav gotten an entertainment center worth over $200 for just $45 NO LIE!! it was a moving sell and it had to go!!
plus i got a futon originally worth around $200 for JUST $10!!!!!!!!! WHAT A DEAL!!! u get college kids scrapping for money and in a rush and things must go!! i have seen beds fridges washers/dryers for $100 and les…and its ALL GOOD QUALITY!!! but yes i would say NORMAN NORMAN NORMAN for your best deals and steals with garage sales!!!!
plus there are some thrift stores (lindsey and mcgee) or secondhand furniture(12th and lindsey) that have AMAZING deals!!! we bought a nightstand set and coffee tabels for $80 at the secondhand furniture and you could never tell the difference that they’v been used…such good shape!!
